The Girls
Meet Our Herd

Luna
Luna was born on July 16, 2023. She is our sole non-chondro highland heifer, and she confidently asserts her presence as the “pen boss.”

Rue
Rue was born on November 19, 2023, and she is our first chondro positive highland. Rue bear does not hesitate to fight for the first scratches, treats or to get brushed. Both her and belle have jealousy issues and does not agree with anyone else being loved.

Belle
Belle was born on January 11, 2024. As a chondro positive highland heifer, she is by far the one that demands the most attention. She could never get to much love and as mentioned before, she gets jealous when any of the other girls receive affection.

Pearl
Pearl was born on April 28, 2024, and is also a chondro positive highland heifer. Upon her arrival, she exhibited a spirited personality, though she has since mellowed and enjoys receiving scratches.

Gingi
Gingi was born on May 20, 2024; she is a chondro positive highland/white Galloway cross. The quietest and sweetest of the micros – she doesn’t demand affection but embraces it.

Tulip
Tulip was born on August 6, 2024, and is recognized as a chondro positive HighPark. She arrived in festive decorations and has proven to be one of the most delightful Christmas presents we have ever received.

Martini
Martini was born on September 29th, 2024, and is also a chondro positive black highland heifer. She is a little more shy than the rest of the crew but she has slowly started to warm up to our family more and more and has recently discovered how yummy the treats are.

Clarabelle
Has no personal space and with that it’s hard to get anything done because she is always right up in your business. Most likely hoping we pull out the treats.

Harriet
One of the visitors all time favorites. She is so tiny weighing in at 744 lbs while pregnant. Known to have 25 lb calves. She is definitely Annies soul sister.

Annie
LOVES everyone including kids. Always the first to approach anyone whether you have the treat bucket or not as she is the most curious (more nosey…) as she has no problem coming up to be involved with whatever is going on.

Jolene
As soon as you tell anyone her name they start singing the song! She has the most beautiful set of horns. Definitely the leader of the pack. Docile, lovable and trusting.

Molly Mae
The biggest girl of the herd. She is the most timid and isn’t quite interested in being loved back like the others are. She is gorgeous to look at from a distance especially with her curly head of hair.

Maisy
She is quiet yet curious so she stands back but still comes to see what any excitement is about. It took us months to try to have her warm up to us, little did we know all it would take is bringing out the grain bucket! Since then she has trusted and loved us like the rest of them.

The Boys
Meet Our Herd

Chewbucca
Chewbucca aka Chewy is absolutely precious. He poses like a super model. So quite in nature that it is hard for the other bulls to get any attention. Would eat the whole bag of treats if he was allowed. He LOVES his scratches, leans into them so hard it’s a surprise he doesn’t fall over.

Hamish
Hamish is our handsome 2 year old white 75% Highland and 25% Dexter bull. He arrived a little spicy after 2 days of travel but has come to realize that we are not so bad. We are excited to see how he matures.

Bear
Our only Chondro positive bull. He is small in stature and definitely has “little man syndrome”. Bear does not want to let the other boys know that he is the little one.
